Prenatal Lactation Education
Get ready for breastfeeding with a prenatal lactation education session. Our expert International Board Certified Lactation Consultant will help you prepare a plan and provide you with the basics on lactation. This 45 minutes session can take place on the phone or virtually. After your appointment, you will receive our digital lactation education bundle.
Prenatal Lactation Education Appointment $150
In-home Lactation Support
Start your breastfeeding off on the right foot with an in-home lactation visit. Includes education on positioning, pumping, or any other lactation topics. A feeding or pumping session will be observed to ensure both you and your little one are getting the most out of breastfeeding.
The Initial In-Home Lactation Consultation is a 60 minute appointment where current lactation status will be discussed and will will address all of your lactation concerns.
Initial in-Home Lactation Consultation $200
The Follow Up In-home Lactation Consultation is a 30 minutes appointment to discuss any new or evolving lactation concerns after your Initial In-Home Lactation Consultation.
Follow Up In-Home Lactation Consultation $100
Telephone Lactation Support
If new issues arise after your in-home visit, we can plan an up to 30 minute call with the support line to make sure you have the help you need to continue breastfeeding or pumping.

Meet Nicole, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
I am Nicole, and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Nurse with over 14 years of breastfeeding experience. I have been there to support parents of the DC Metro area who need help with lactation for full term singleton infants, infants admitted to the Neonatal ICU, multiples, and toddlers. I am committed to ensuring you and your baby achieve your lactation goals, whether that means breastfeeding, pumping, or combination feeding. At Potomac Lactation, you will be my priority and I will provide you with the care and attention that you and your baby deserve to ensure a healthy start.

Potomac Lactation services the DC Metro area including, Potomac, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Silver Spring, Bethesda, and more. Nicole will conduct lactation home visits within 20 miles of the 20854 zip code. A transportation fee is added for locations outside of that area.
